I am greatly inspired and the feeling still lingered as I am forging ahead on how to implement what I have learned from the course. Immensely grateful to the three Professors and all who made it possible to access the course

Am still relishing the experience from the course, all thanks to the team, HBS, AfricaLive, Edx etc. Such mind blowing and eye opener to the unending opportunities waiting to be tapped into in the African economy. Wish it never ended but it was worth every minute of the journey and believe me, we want more!

Amazing experience- tnx for sharing Professor. Everything starts with students hungry for knowledge despite all institutional voids.

I'm doing business in Africa for the last 6 years and I'm fascinated by energy and passion of the young generations- they just deserve the real chance!

So very true , I personally have enrolled to so many courses last year since the start of COVID. As a busy entrepreneur, there was not much of an incentive to finish any of those courses.

But here comes AfricaLive! Was hooked for every live class. My wife in the house thought I had paid and started a masters course , because i was so engaged during the week. The group discussions were such an amazing touch, I have never engaged with people from Egypt for example, from a business and academic point of view , shared ideas with my neighbors in Uganda and got tips from business people in Lagos... And here’s the icing on the cake, the final ‘project’ the business plan was such a practical element to the whole course, it got all our creative juices really flowing.

In a nutshell Tarun, think the model more or less worked 😃

Thanks Prof. Khanna for sharing these ideas. I agree there is a lot of free content out there, in fact, the challenge now is how do we curate and ensure people understand the utility of this content in a specific context.

I also think this course is a great demonstration of using live cohort-based courses (CBCs) to target specific cohorts of learners. The first 10-20years of online learning was about taking education and putting it on the web - MOOCs etc, the next 10-20 years will be about the web fundamentally changing what we mean by education - CBCs will soon be mainstream before we know! Check out Erik Torenberg's thoughts on this - https://eriktorenberg.substack.com/p/opportunities-in-education

I would even go to an extent that the communities of learning and relationships developed in live classes like Africalive! perhaps survive beyond the life of the course and have network effects.

Dear Professor Tarun Khanna thank you againg. After edX courses, and 40 years of profissional experiente, I decide to design a +Humanitarian Engineering & Biodiversity Program because the world belongs to the enterpreneur inside every person, young people can do a lot with few resources and so on. Connect offer and demand is an art in each specific market by many reasons you perfectly explained in your books and classes.
